Moe, Gippsland
Panel, paint
and patience.
A small body shop on Moore Street. Steve straightens panels, cuts out rust and matches paint, on everyday cars that got hit in a car park and on shells that arrive on a trailer with the parts in boxes.

Bec Robinson, on the 1971 VH Charger she bought as a bare shell, speaking to Street Machine.
The same car
Torn open,
then gone.
A Chrysler 300C came in with the rear quarter folded in and the steel opened up behind the wheel arch. Panel, filler, colour match, back together. Drag the buttons and see for yourself.

What comes through the door
Five things,
done properly.

- 01
Panel beating
Straightening, replacing and refitting panels so the gaps line up the way they left the factory. Everyday knocks through to full body-off work.
- 02
Spray painting and resprays
Full resprays and single panels, colour matched in the booth. Steve gets asked about colour matching more than anything else, and it is what the reviews keep coming back to.
- 03
Rust repairs
Cutting rust right out and letting in fresh steel, rather than filling over it. The part of the job nobody sees, and the part that decides how long the paint lasts.
- 04
Classic and custom restorations
Bare shells brought back to finished cars. Chargers, Toranas, Cadillacs, panel vans, hot rods and the odd one nobody can name any more.
- 05
Accident damage
Insurance knocks and car-park dents. The Chrysler further up this page came in with the rear quarter torn open and went home looking like nothing happened.

The shed on Moore Street
One bloke,
one booth.
Custom & Classic Revival is a small automotive body shop with a passion for restorations, spray painting, rust repairs and panel beating. That is how Steve describes it himself, and it is about right.
It means the person who quotes your car is the person who sprays it. Nothing gets handed down a line. The reviews keep landing on the same two things, that he keeps you posted while the car is in, and that the colour match is right when it comes out.
Around six years on Moore Street now, with 1,200 people following the shed on Facebook and a Charger in a national magazine.

Cars that
left here.
Shells, resprays and finished cars, photographed in the booth and out the front. Every photo on this page was taken by the shop.

One that went a long way
A bare shell from Sydney,
finished in Moe.
A 1971 Valiant Charger arrived as a shell with the parts in boxes. The paint and panel, rust included, were done here. Street Machine ran the finished car in September 2025 and the owner named the shop when they asked her who did the body.
That is the long end of the work. The short end is a scraped bumper, and both go through the same booth.

I recently had work done on my car. Excellent communication throughout the process and the job looked great . I would recommend Steve for any repair work.
Steve has an eye for details! I was very impressed with his work and specifically colour matching and fit. The paint work is second to none, I couldn't recommend Custom & Classic more highly, very competitively priced too.
Best panel shop around, the attention to detail Stephen has is next level….. he has done some incredible work on both my cars, wouldn't take my cars anywhere else 10/10 would recommend to everybody
Great attention to detail. Did a fantastic job repairing & matching the paint on my Torana. Easy to deal with, kept me updated with progress along the way. Would use again.
Friendly and professional, didn't look down on me just because I was a women and felt respected in the questions I asked and how I was answered. Fit in with my work schedule. Did a beautiful job on the required repairs and repaint. Will use again

Send Steve a photo
Quickest way to get a straight answer on a dent, a rust patch or a full respray. Send a couple of photos and roughly what you want done, and he will come back to you.
